<p>A lens drive device (1) has a lens holder (4) holding a lens (3), a step motor (30) having a rotatably supported rotor (31), a gear (12A) pivoted by rotational force from the rotor (31), and a cam gear (following gear)(20) following rotation of the gear (12A). Pivoting of the cam gear (20) drives the lens holder (4) in the optical axis direction. The cam gear (20) has a tooth row (22), and the tooth row (22) includes a meshing section (22G) meshing with the gear (12A) and also includes a not-meshing section (22GA) for stopping rotation of both the gear (12A) and the cam gear (20) by making contact with the gear (12A).</p> |
