PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide particles for a display medium to be used for an information display panel with improved durability, and to provide the information display panel using the same. SOLUTION: The particles 31 for the display medium constitute the display medium used in the information display panel which includes the display medium composed of the particles having an optical reflectance and charging property filled between two opposite substrates at least one of which is transparent, and displays information such as an image by moving the display medium applied with an electric field. The particles are composite particles each of which is fabricated by burying child particles 33 into the surface of a mother particle 32 made of a resin with the glass transition temperature (Tg) of 60°C or higher, and the particle size distribution (cv) of the child particles 33 is 18% or less in burying the child particles 33.
