A water purification apparatus based on filter cartridge identification security comprises a filter cartridge assembly (1), a booster pump (2) and a filter membrane assembly (3). The water inlet and the water outlet of the filter cartridge assembly (1) are respectively connected with a water supply pipe and the booster pump (2). The water outlet of the booster pump is connected with the water inlet of the filter membrane assembly (3). Identification chips are arranged on the filter cartridge assembly (1) and the filter membrane assembly (3) and matched with an identification device mounted on the water purification apparatus. The identification chips are respectively mounted on filter cartridges of the filter cartridge assembly (1) and the filter membrane assembly (3). The booster pump (2) is connected with the identification device such that the identification device outputs a control signal to drive the booster pump (2) to work only when the identification chips are successfully matched with the identification device.
