摘要 CONSTITUTION: A laser range finder 10 comprises: two polarization prisms 18 that is composed of birefringent calcite; three polarization rotation elements 20 that are arranged across the two polarization prisms 18, and can control whether to cause a polarization direction of laser light to be incident by each of the three polarization rotation elements to be rotated at 90 degrees; a pair of polarization filters 22 that is provided outside the most outside polarization rotation element 20, respectively; and a projection reception section 14 that project laser light at a first polarization filter 22a to receive reflection laser light through a second polarization filter 22b. The polarization prism 18 is configured to emit first laser light or second laser light from a slant second face in accordance with the polarization direction of the laser light incident from a vertical first face.EFFECT: Laser light can be scanned at a plurality of positions without using a mechanical action section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
