Disclosed is a wave power generation system. The wave power generation system includes: a buoy floating in accordance with motion of waves; a power transfer member which is connected to the buoy, and is combined to more than three different positions of the buoy; a power conversion device converting power of the power transfer member into a rotary motion; a transmission unit performing at least one function among low speed, high speed and blocking of the power of the power conversion device; and a power generation unit which is connected to the transmission unit, and generates electric energy by the power transferred from the transmission unit. The transmission unit can be configured to reduce the power generation unit from being inputted with excessive energy. The wave power generation system of the present invention has the advantage of being able to prevent the power generation unit from being damaged due to excessive energy input, in case the energy is excessive, since a converter is configured with a clutch or safety gear mode type. |
