The present invention relates to a dust collector with improved dust separating performance, which can compress dust. The dust collector in accordance with one aspect of the present invention, comprises: a dust separating part for separating dust from sucked air; a dust storing part for storing the dust separated from the dust separating part; a pressurizing member which compresses the dust stored in the dust storing part, and includes a pressurizing plate supporting part and a pressurizing plate supported by the pressurizing plate supporting part; a fixing member disposed between the pressurizing plate supporting part and an inner periphery of the dust storing part; and a path which is formed by a part of the fixing member, and is positioned between the pressurizing plate supporting part and the inner periphery of the dust storing part to pass through air between the pressurizing plate and the fixing member.
