PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating applicator where the reduction of productivity is suppressed in comparison with a case that a discharge member discharging a coating liquid moves from one side to the other chamfering part at a constant speed and the thinning of the film thickness of the coating film of the chamfering part at a coating completion side can be suppressed and to provide a production method of a roll member.SOLUTION: The number of rotations of a rubber roll 100 becomes a second number of rotations lower than a first number of rotations when a discharge portion 36 reaches a front part. Accordingly, the movement of a coating liquid 14 discharged to a part at the ridge line 130 side of a conical surface 122A is suppressed by a centrifugal force and then the thinning of the film thickness of the coating film 16 of a chamfering part 122 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
