PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove contaminants from green coffee beans while suppressing quality deterioration.SOLUTION: When green coffee beans are treated, a removal step, a washing step, and a drying step are performed. In the removal step, a powder removal device 10 removes fine powders adhering to dried unroasted green coffee beans. In the washing step, while stirring the green coffee beans, a washing device 20 washes them. In the drying step, a drying device 30 dewaters the green coffee beans to adjust the total of internal moisture and surface moisture to 20 wt.% or less. Subsequently, a selection device 40 selects only non-defective green coffee beans, and a roasting device 50 roasts the green coffee beans.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
