PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic polishing liquid for magnesium or a magnesium alloy that is easily handled and is excellent in work safety.SOLUTION: The electrolytic polishing liquid for magnesium or a magnesium alloy includes: one kind or plural kinds of organic sulfonic acids represented by the general formula R-SOH (Rrepresents an atom or an atomic group selected from the group consisting of a linear or branched-chain alkyl group and an aromatic hydrocarbon group each having the whole or a part of hydrogens which may be substituted with any of a cycloalkyl group, an aromatic hydrocarbon group and a halogen atom) or salts thereof and having a concentration of 0.7 to 3.0 mol/L in total; one kind or plural kinds of organic bases or salts thereof; and one kind or plural kinds of alcohols selected from the group consisting of a monohydric alcohol, a dihydric alcohol and a trihydric alcohol, where a molar ratio of the organic sulfonic acid and the salt thereof to the organic base and the salt thereof is 7:1 to 5:7.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
