The present invention relates to a mobile terminal for capturing a part of an image, sensed by a camera, by expanding or moving the same and a controlling method thereof. Particularly, according to the disclosed specification, the mobile terminal comprises: a camera; a display unit for displaying images and receiving touch inputs; and a control unit for controlling the camera and display unit. Additionally, the present invention displays an expanded preview which is made by expanding a part of an image, received by the camera, by using an expansion input; moves the expanded position of the preview based on a movement input; and captures a part of the image corresponding to the expanded preview, displayed on the display unit, based on the capture input. The objective of the present invention is to provide the mobile terminal and controlling method thereof capable of photographing an expanded image more easily. |
