According to an embodiment of the present invention, in an underground water monitoring system having a sinkhole detection function; provided is the underground water monitoring system having the sinkhole detection function comprising: a winch arranged on an upper part of an underground water tube well, winding or unwinding a cable inserted into the tube well; and a first sensor assembly attached to an end of a cable, including a first acoustic wave transmitter generating an acoustic wave, and an acoustic wave receiver receiving the acoustic wave. When the first sensor assembly is lifted up or down in the tube well by the winch, the first sensor assembly stops at every fixed interval of the cable. In a stoppage state thereof, the first acoustic wave transmitter transmits the acoustic wave, and the first acoustic wave receiver receives a reflected wave and/or a refracted wave of the acoustic wave. |
