PACKAGE FOR HOUSING PIEZOELECTRIC RESONATOR, AND PIEZOELECTRIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small piezoelectric device which does not adversely influences oscillation frequency characteristics of a piezoelectric resonator even in the piezoelectric device in which a semiconductor element and a crystal resonator are simultaneously mounted.

SOLUTION: The device is provided with a first insulating base 2 having a portion 11 for mounting a semiconductor device 9 at the center of an upper side main surface, and a first wiring conductor 5-1 formed from the mounting portion 11 of the upper main surface toward the external periphery of the upper side main surface and a lower side main surface; a second insulating base 1 having a recess 12 for housing a piezoelectric resonator 3 at the center of a bottom surface, and a second wiring conductor 5-2 formed from the inside of the recess 12 toward the external periphery of the bottom surface; and a lid 4 attached inside the recess 12 and sealing the piezoelectric resonator 3 housed in the recess 12. The external periphery of the upper side main surface of the first insulating base 2 is bonded to the external periphery of the bottom surface of the second insulting base 1, and the first and the second wiring conductors 5-1 and 5-2 are electrically connected.
