PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a computer program that enable a user to easily obtain a natural result of photography where various types of make-up are put on.SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing apparatus that comprises: means that acquires an image formed of a plurality of pixels arranged in matrix; and specification means that specifies the face of a person photographed in the acquired image areas of parts in the face, and superimposes one of images for make-up stored in advance on the areas specified by the specification means, where the images for make-up stored in advance are images of materials that are not originally present on the face of the person and stored identifiably for each of different themes and each of the types of a plurality of make-ups. The image processing apparatus determines the position, size, or angle on the image with respect to the plurality of images for make-up corresponding to a selected theme, reduces or rotates a part or all of the images for make-up to deform the images for make-up on the basis of the determined size or angle, and superimposes the images for make-up on the image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 36 |
