PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone anchor which has a broad range of application, for example which is suitable for being placed at the implantation site with minimally invasive surgery.SOLUTION: The bone anchor comprises: a shaft 7 having a first end 8 and a second end 9; a conduction bore 11 extending coaxially with the shaft 7 from the first end 8 to the second end 9, and a plug member 30, 40, 41 which is insertable into the conduction bore from the first end 8 and guidable through the conduction bore for closing the conduction bore at the second end 9, the plug member being spherically shaped. With the bone anchor thus structured, a guide wire can be guided through the bone anchor, and after the bone anchor has been anchored in the bone, the plug member is inserted to close the open end of the bone anchor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
