PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemming processing method capable of detecting abnormality during hemming processing and preventing quality deterioration of a folding joint part of each workpiece.SOLUTION: The hemming processing method is configured so that applied pressure from a roller is monitored by a pressure sensor always during hemming processing, and when the applied pressure is out of a range of ±3&sgr; which is based on a good item waveform of preset applied pressure as standard, abnormality alarm means is actuated for stopping hemming processing. Thereby abnormality occurred during hemming processing can be detected, so that quality deterioration of a folding joint part of each workpiece can be prevented. |
