PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilting pad type journal bearing capable of effectively suppressing a carry-over phenomenon with a simple structure.SOLUTION: At a rear end part on downstream side in an inner peripheral surface 22 of a pad 2, provided is an oil guide groove 23 long in an axial direction. End parts 25 on both ends in the axial direction of the oil guide groove 23 are opened toward a side plate 3 at both ends in the axial direction of the pad 2. Also, the depth of the oil guide groove 23 is made shallowest at a center part 24 in the axial direction of the pad 2, and made deeper from the center part 24 toward the end parts 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
