PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and the diaphragm control method of the imaging device capable of performing smooth diaphragm control by quickly removing the influence of a backlash which occurs in diaphragm driving.SOLUTION: When a target AV value Q1 is smaller than a current AV value P1, a diaphragm driving mechanism 21 is driven by inverting a driving direction. In this case, a difference between the absolute positions of the current AV value P1 and the target AV value Q1 is calculated by referring to a diaphragm → aperture AV interpolation table, and the diaphragm driving mechanism 21 is driven (a flow of F2) is driven in an opening direction only by the difference so that a backlash can be cancelled. |
