摘要 PURPOSE:To make an adjusting process unnecessary and to eliminate a change caused by time passing, by outputting the optimum subscan controlling pulse according to plural subscanning line densities by an ROM counting circuit, FF, etc. CONSTITUTION:A JK-FF1 sets an output 12 to level 0 in initial state, and inverts the output 12 to level 1 if a starting pulse 11 becomes leve 1. Accordingly, a counting circuit 2 becomes to be possible to count, counts a clock pulse 13 and outputs the result of counting to outputs 14a-14d. An ROM3 outputs the contents of the ROM to 16a and 16b according to a subscanning line density assigning signal and the outputs 14a-14d. The output 16a outputs to the outside to use as a subscan controlling pulse. The outputs 16b indicates the finish of subscanning operation when it is of level 1, and the FF1 inverts the output 12 to level 0 when the output 16b becomes level 1. Therefore, the circuit 2 returns to the initial state, and outputs 14a-14d and 16a and 16b become level 0. As a result, the subscan controlling pulse necessary for one subscanning operation is outputted for every one time of the pulse 11.
