<p>PURPOSE:To automatically, and rapidly detect tape stop by controlling the motor of a winding reel so that the length of magnetic tape is enough and the shortest when the length of a magnetic tape wounded around the winding reel is not enough for pulling out and winding a drum. CONSTITUTION:A thread meaning pulls out the magnetic tape TP and winds the tape TP around a drum by a thread motor 16 with the control of a motor control device 19 and a system control device 20. Then, whether the length of the tape TP wound around the reel T is enough or not for pulling out and winding around the drum 2 is discriminated by the detected result of the tape top P of the tape TP by a light emitting element 3 and a light receiving element 5. When the length is not enough, a reel motor 15 is controlled by a rotary board 7, a detector 8, a counter 12, etc., and the tape TP of enough and shortest length for winding the drum 2 is wounded around a reel T. Consequently, the tape top is automatically and rapidly detected.</p> |
