<p>PURPOSE:To provide the developing method by which a satisfactory picture quality is obtained even when plain paper is used, by a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:In the developing method for developing a toner image on the surface of an image carrier 1 by providing the image carrier 1 consisting of an optical semiconductor material of transparency, and a developing roll 5 for forming a magnetic brush, and radiating an optical signal from the back of the image carrier 1 formed in negative, and a magnetic developer obtained by mixing a negative chargeable toner of >=10<12>OMEGA.cm and 5-20mum average particle size, and a negative chargeable magnetic particle of <=10<12>OMEGA.cm and 10-100mum average particle diameter are used.</p> |
