PURPOSE:To stably use a burning jig without generating cracks or peeling on a coated layer even in use for a long period by adding and including a specific quantity of magnesia into calcia-stabilized zirconia as the coated layer. CONSTITUTION:Since calcia-stabilizig zirconia must be inactive in order to maintain a nonreactivity with a material to be burnt, it is temporarily molten by an arc discharge method, then, the obtained product is cooled and solidified, and, thus, electromelting zirconia obtained by grinding the resultant product is preferably used. Calcia-stabilized zirconia whose stability is 15% or higher is preferably used. The amount of addition of magnesia may be 0.5 weight % or more. The upper limit of the amount of addition can be arbitrarily set depending on the kind of the material to be burnt. In this case, since magnesia generates a hydration reaction to prevent dispersibility to water, the amount of addition thereof may be preferably 10wt.% or less. Thus, a burning jig can be stably used without generating cracks or peeling on a coated layer even when it is used for a long period. |
