发明名称 ASTIGMATISM CORRECTING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To correct the astigmatism of a semiconductor laser by preliminarily installing the semiconductor laser at a setting position while determining the setting position of the semiconductor laser by a known numerical value and shortening the handling time of an adjustment. CONSTITUTION:This method is provided with a semiconductor laser 10 emitting a laser beam, a collimeter lense 20 making the laser beam emitted from the semiconductor laser 10 almost a parallel beam by refraction. Moreover, the method is provided with a shaping prism 30 enlarging the horizontal direction of the laser beam made to be parallel by being passed through the lens 20 and bringing a sectional plane perpendicular to the optical axis of the laser beam to a circle and a condenser lens 40 making the laser beam made to be passed through the prism 30 converge as a minute spot. When an astigmatic quantity being the deviation of the light-emitting position of the vertical direction of the lasers 10 form a laser end face is defined as DELTAd and the enlargement rate of the shaping prism is defined as K, the astigmatism of the laser is corrected by installing the position of the semiconductor laser 10 while separating the light-emitting surface position of the laser 10 from the focusing position of the collimeter lens 20 by almost DELTAd/(K-1).
