Protective cover for protruding part of tent peg or ground anchor pin

The cover device (11) comprises a plastic moulding which includes a circular base portion (7) connected by a flexible tether strip to a smoothly rounded dome shaped cover (4). The base is holed (9,10,29) to receive a choice of anchor pin (12) or angle section metal tent peg (9). The pin or peg is driven until the head (28) presses on the base top (8). The cover (1) is snap fixed to the base by two resilient hooking arms (31) with release buttons (32) engaged with coupling arms (30) on the base. An opening (17) in the cover provides a passage for guy rope connected to the pin.
