<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording method and an optical disk apparatus in which good recording quality is kept over a series of whole data to be recorded, and a laser is used with a good temperature property even if recording is continued for a long lime. <P>SOLUTION: A series of data to be recorded is divided, recording is performed intermittently by the divided data unit, utilizing an intermittent period, evaluation of recording quality is performed by reproducing data recorded in the vicinity before recording of each divided data is performed, while control is performed so that recording quality is kept good over a series of whole data to be recorded by reflecting the evaluation result to an output of the laser. Further, temperature rise is suppressed by stopping functions of each part which may be operated only at the time of recording or at the time of reproducing of the disk apparatus in the intermittent period, and control is performed so that good recording quality is kept even in recording over a long time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
