PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens position controller by which the resetting operation of a focusing system lens group is surely executed even when the focusing system lens group is started to be driven again in a state where the focusing system lens group does not exist at a specified position. SOLUTION: In an electronic zooming driving control system where 1st and 2nd lens groups are moved to perform zooming operation and the 1st lens group is relatively moved to the 2nd lens group to perform focusing; the resetting operation to restore the 1st lens group to the specified position when the 1st lens group does not exist at the specified position is executed after moving the 1st lens group to a specified zooming position (54→58→59→60→61).
