1-Aryl-3-cyano-5-(hetero)arylalkylaminopyrazole derivatives represented by general formula (1), a process for preparing the same, intermediates, and a pest control agent containing the same as the active ingredient, wherein R<1> represents a C1 to C4 alkyl group or a C1 to C8 haloalkyl group; R<2> represents a hydrogen atom or a C1 to C4 alkyl group; R<3> represents an aryl or heteroaryl group optionally substituted with a substituent selected from among a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a C1 to C4 alkyl group, a C1 to C8 haloalkyl group, a C1 to C4 alkoxy group, an optionally substituted phenoxy group, a C1 to C4 haloalkoxy group, a C1 to C4 alkylthio group, a C1 to C4 alkylsulfinyl group, a C1 to C4 alkylsulfonyl group, a halogen atom, a nitro group, and a cyano group; R<4> represents a hydrogen atom, a C1 to C4 alkyl group, or a C1 to C4 acyl group; X represents a nitrogen atom, or a carbon atom substituted with a halogen atom; and 1 and n are each independently any one of 0, 1 and 2.
