<p>An isolated antibody that immunospecifically binds to a BLyS protein comprises a first amino acid sequence at least 85% identical to amino acid residues 1-123 of SEQ ID NO:327 and a second amino acid sequence at least 85% identical to amino acid residues 141-249 of SEQ ID NO:327. Preferably the antibody is purified from cell lines contained in ATCC deposit Number PTA3240 or PTA3239. The antibodies can be used in the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and B cell cancers.</p> |
