<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more exactly detect a remaining battery capacitance while considering factors such as a temperature, CPU clock and battery type to affect the judgement of remaining battery capacitance in addition to a battery voltage. SOLUTION: A remaining battery capacitance detection control part 10 is operated according to a software stored in a ROM or the like under the control of a CPU 20. The voltage of a battery 40 is detected through an A/D converter 30 by a battery voltage detecting means 11, and factors to affect the judgement of remaining battery capacitance such as three of temperature, CPU clock and battery type are detected by a factor detecting means 12. The temperature is detected through a temperature sensor 60 and the A/D converter 30 by a temperature detecting means 121, a CPU clock velocity is discriminated while referring to a CPU operating mode discriminate flag 70 by a CPU clock detecting means 122, and the battery type of a different discharging curve is detected by a battery type detecting means 123. Based on the information of the battery voltage, temperature, CPU clock and battery type, a remaining battery capacitance judging means 13 judges the remaining battery capacitance while referring to a data table 50 for remaining capacitance judgement.</p> |
