PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent cooling effect while suppressing melting of an aluminum nitride or a corrosion due to a hydrolysis by regulating a concentration of a copper ion in a water solution to a specific range in an environment for bringing a sintered aluminum nitride with a water. SOLUTION: A sintered aluminum nitride used as a heat radiating material is used as a cooler by molding it therein in a structure having a cavity. A heat transfer medium is supplied to the cavity of the cooler to cool a cooling surface. In case of bringing such a sintered aluminum nitride into contact with a water, a copper ion of 1×10<-4> to 5×10<-1> mol/l of a concentration is existed in the water, thereby suppressing a hydrolysis of the nitride. As the copper ion, a monovalent copper ion, a bivalent copper ion or a complex ion of these ions is used. In addition to the water solution, it is further effective to use an organic compound having an alcoholic hydroxyl group. The compound is preferably regulated to become 10 to 100 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the water. |
