PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image defect of a photoreceptor drum due to foreign matter such as cutting oil, metal powder, etc., such that mist contains by stopping the mist from being blown out of the upper-end opening of the blank tube, when the circumference of the lower-end opening of the suspended blank tube is cleaned. SOLUTION: This cleaning device for the photosensitive drum blank tube (4) comprises a blank tube holding means 16 which suspends and holds the upper end side of the blank tube (4) and rotates it, a 1st nozzle 16 for high- pressure water spraying which scans the external surface of the suspended blank tube 3 by moving vertically, and a 2nd nozzle 18 for high-pressure water spraying which scans the circumference of the lower-end opening 3a of the suspended blank tube 3, and the blank tube holding means 16 airtightly holds the upper-end opening 3b of the blank tube 4.
