PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide to be fitted to the outside of a fishing rod by arranging a ring-shaped guide member to guide a fishing line in a contact state of the guide member with the surface of a fishing rod material and forming a retaining member for fixing the guide member to the fishing rod material. SOLUTION: This guide is provided with a guide member 2 whose shape is formed into a ring form so as to make an opening for a fishing line insertion into an elliptic or approximately elliptic form. Preferably, the opening face of the guide member 2 is arranged in an inclined state to a fishing line guide path L so that an outer edge in a minor axis direction of the guide member 2 is brought into contact with the outside of a fishing rod material R and an outer edge in the major axis direction of the guide member 2 is made into a position to come close to a fishing line guide path L. |
