PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rope capacity by partially separately fitting a support pipe larger in diameter than a shackle diameter by a fixed dimension to the circular surface of the U-shape curved part of a shackle metal fitting. SOLUTION: In molding a shackle 1, a support pipe 4 of a fixed length larger in diameter than the bar diameter d1 of a bar body 1a by a fixed dimension is partially and separately fitted to the center part of the bar 1a. The length dimension of the support pipe 4 is set so as to be capable of partially covering the U-shaped curved part (m) of the shackle body. The outer diameter d1 of the U-shaped curved part (m) of the shackle body is set to about 1.5-2.5 times the shackle bar diameter d1, and both edges of the support pipe 4 are cut in an angle range ofθ=10 deg.-30 deg. to form a tapered surface (p). Ring plate-like head 5 is formed on both ends of the bar 1b having the support pipe 4 inserted thereto, a pin hole 6 is formed in the center of the head 5, and the resulting bar body 1a is formed in U-shape by the bending metal mold 8 of a pressing machine. |
