A device for recovering connection is connected with a bus which is used for serial bi-directional communication in packet system and for interconnection of a plurality of apparatus. The device comprises a connection information storage section (24) for storing therein the condition of logical connection of an apparatus connected with the bus, and a connection re-establishment control section (26) for determining the priority of the condition of logical connection of the apparatuses connected with the bus based on the condition of logical connection stored in the connection information storage section (24) and the information on logical connection stored in another connection controller connected with the bus when initialization information is reported from the bus.
