PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile transmitting method and a facsimile apparatus which can realize various communication application using a signal SID. SOLUTION: Destination information for returning a repeating transmission result report can be transmitted by using a second signal SID, so that a facsimile apparatus on the terminating side to which repeating transmission is indicated can deliver the repeating transmission result report showing an indicated repeating transmission result to an adequate destination. As a result, higher repeating transmission application can be provided.
