<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser diode driving circuit which can drive a laser diode for a blu-ray disc (R) in a wide band range (300 to 500 MHz). <P>SOLUTION: A laser diode LD is connected to a low-impedance driving amplifier 1 for amplifying an inputted recording signal via a low-impedance transmission line 2 built up with a parallel combination of two lines. Meanwhile, a capacitor C1 is connected to the driving amplifier-connected side of the transmission line 2 so that an equivalent circuit of the circuit shown in Fig. may form a π-type low-pass filter. By this structure, the driving frequency band of the laser diode driving circuit can be expanded to be allowed to drive a laser diode for a blu-ray disk (R) in a wide band range (300-500 MHz). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
