PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin scroll type pump with a large flow rate. SOLUTION: The scroll type pump 1 comprises movable scroll parts 10, fixed scroll parts 20, and stator parts 30. In the movable scroll part 10, scroll blades 12 project from both sides of a disk 11, and a magnetic part 14 made of a magnetic material is formed on the outer periphery of the disk 11. In the fixed scroll part 20, scroll blades 22 to be engaged with the scroll blades 12 of the movable scroll part 10 project from the inner surfaces of two fixed boards 21 respectively which are mounted with the movable scroll parts 10 in-between. The stator part 30 consists of a fixed iron core 31 disposed on a circle circumscribed with the trajectory of revolution of the movable scroll part 10 and plural coils 32 wound around the fixed iron core 31. In the scroll type pump 1, the scroll blades 12 with different compression ratios are attached to both sides of the disk 11 in the line symmetry or plane symmetry relative to the disk 11.
