PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an inexpensive wood such as a lumber from thinning for a beam or the like by incorporating a wire rod in the longitudinal wood at its bottom face side to form camber and to improve strength against a bending load. SOLUTION: This building structural material formed by combining the wood with the wire rod comprises the wire rod 4 provided at a position closer to a bottom face 1a from the center of a height H of a sectional shape, passing through the wood 1 along length L, the wood 1 being tightened via the wire rod 4 to form camber.
