PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel type display device capable of efficiently guiding the outgoing light emitted from a light source and enlarging the degree of freedom of the installation location for a light source and an optical display part. SOLUTION: A casing 5 made of transparent resin comprises an incident part 53 which is formed on the end part of an exterior cylindrical part 14 at least opposite to a light source 20, makes the outgoing light L from the light source 20 incident and guides the light to the inside of the exterior cylindrical part 14, a reflection part 55 which is formed on the connection part between the exterior cylindrical part 14 and an outer peripheral flange part 15, refracts the outgoing light L guided through the inside of the exterior cylindrical part 14 and guides the light L to the inside of the outer peripheral flange part 15 and an outgoing part 54 which is formed on the outer peripheral flange part 15 opposite to a light spot part 51 of an optical display part 19 and emits the outgoing light L from the light spot part 51. The casing 5 is constituted as a light guide member which, at least twice or more, refracts the outgoing light L emitted from the light source 20 and lighting up the light spot part 51 within the casing 5.
