PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irregularly patterned tufted pile carpet drawn with a complicated irregular patternshaving irregular parts with flat surfaces, interposed with slopes having gently changed pile lengths between the projecting parts and recessed parts, having no step due to a height difference in pile in the edges of the pattern, preventing dust from easily attached to the edges of the pattern and non-obstructing the traveling of a wheelchair. SOLUTION: In this loop pile irregularly patterned tufted carpet, high piles 32 of the projecting parts 31 are continuously formed for three stitches or more to make the surface flat, and an intermediate pile 22 whose pile length is continuously changed for five stitches or more is interposed between the projecting part and the recessed part 11. The change in the pile length is made to 0.5 mm or less for every stitch and the slope 21 by the intermediate pile 21 is formed between the projecting part and the recessed part. The high pile is 8 mm or less and the difference between the high pile and a low pile 12 is 3 mm or more. A needle gage is set to 2.54/8 cm or less and a stitch gage is set to 2.54/8 cm or less.
