<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device capable of preventing light from being incident on a liquid crystal panel or the like in the case of temporarily stopping video projection, and a projection type video display device. <P>SOLUTION: Each light shielding plate 22 is equipped with a turning shaft 23 and a driving shaft 24 arranged in a vertical direction. A 1st divided light shielding plate 22A is movably fit and supported (non-stuck) on the turning shaft 23 and turns around the turning shaft 23. A 2nd divided light shielding plate 22B is fixed to the turning shaft 23 and turns by the turning of the turning shaft 23. The driving shaft 24 is connected (non-stuck) to the edge part in the longitudinal direction of the plate 22A, and imparts force for turning the plate 22A. Then, recessed parts C are formed at the center part of the upper short side and the center part of the lower short side of the plate 22A, and the mutual short side parts of the plates 22A and 22B constituting the same light shielding plate 22 are superposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
