<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dress-up game device with simple operation and enhanced attraction of the game because a player can play the dress-up game only by operating an operation object in the real space. <P>SOLUTION: The dress-up game system 10 comprises a game machine 12 and the operation object 34 with a reflection ball to be operated by a player. An imaging unit 26 is mounted on the inside of the front face of a housing 24 of the game machine. The imaging unit comprises an infrared LED 28 for intermittently applying infrared light to the operation object and an image sensor for photographing the reflection light of the operation object reflected by the reflection ball via an infrared filter 30. A processor of the game machine specifies the position of a cursor on the screen 22 of a monitor 16 by processing the stroboscopic image of the reflection ball, and determines the selection of dress-up items according to the position of the cursor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
