<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured optical connector device that can stably and accurately connect between different type of connectors having a ferrule with a different diameter by easily changing the diameter. <P>SOLUTION: In this optical connector device 100, ferrules 31, 32 holding an optical fiber 30 of a prescribed length are distinguished between the ferrule 31 with a prescribed connecting outer diameter and the ferrule 32 with a connecting outer diameter larger than that of the ferrule 31, each with the end of the optical fiber 30 fixed thereto. The housings 11, 21 holding these ferrules 31, 32 are distinguished between the housings 11, 21 forming a plug connector 10 as a first connector and those forming an adaptor connector 20 as a second connector which are respectively provided with connecting parts 12, 22 for connecting to an opposite connecting component as well as holding the ferrules 31, 32 respectively.
