<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for maxillary sinus bottom elevation capable of shortening a tooth regeneration healing period by improving the safety and certainty of the fracture elevation of the maxillary sinus bottom bone in an maxillary sinus bottom elevation operation when embedding a dental implant in a maxillary posterior tooth part in order to perform a tooth regeneration operation when the tooth of the maxillary posterior tooth part is lost. <P>SOLUTION: A hole (5) for resonance opened to a hammering part (6) is provided. Further, the shape of the cross section vertical to the axial direction of the hole (5) for the resonance can be changed to be circular, elliptic or polygonal, be the same or different at different depths, or be similarly different at the different depths. Further, the inner side face of the hole (5) for the resonance may be a rotating surface which has a straight line as a rotary axis or an arbitrarily inclined curved surface.
