<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop control when fuel economy is reduced due to the control on the basis of the schedule for operation of an internal combustion engine and a motor and for charging of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: When difference between target SOC and current SOC exceeds the reference value or more in the electric charging and discharging control (550), this electric charging and discharging management device prepares a new charging plan. However, when the electric charging and discharging management device receives an NG report from an HV control part (530) or difference between the vehicle speed pattern shown by the running history and current vehicle speed pattern exceeds the reference value or more, the management device stops the control by the HV control part based on the charging plan in the electric charging and discharging control. Consequently, the HV control part performs usual autonomous control.
