PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor in which the configuration of a drive control circuit is simpler and more efficient. SOLUTION: The brushless motor is provided with a permanent magnet 32 magnetized in a direction perpendicular to a drive direction, and a coil portion 10 opposing the permanent magnet. An electromagnetic coil 12 of the coil portion 10 is wound around an axis parallel to the drive direction. A drive control circuit supplies a drive current in a given first electric current direction to the electromagnetic coil 12 without changing the electric current direction to supply the current to the electromagnetic coil 12, thereby operating the brushless motor in the drive direction.
