PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator oil composition which is favorably used for a compression refrigerator using, as a refrigerant, a hydrofluorocarbon, a natural refrigerant such as a hydrocarbon, carbon dioxide and ammonia, a mixed refrigerant of a fluorinated iodided methyl and propene, further an unsaturated fluorinated hydrocarbon, a fluorinated ether, a fluorinated alcohol, a fluorinated ketone and a mixture of these, and which has a low coefficient of friction, and is excellent in energy saving characteristics. SOLUTION: This refrigerator oil composition comprises a base oil and a polyalkylene glycol (PAG) block copolymer. The PAG block copolymer is represented by following formula (1): R<SP>1</SP>[(OR<SP>2</SP>)<SB>m</SB>(OE)<SB>n</SB>OR<SP>3</SP>]<SB>l</SB>(1), wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-10C hydrocarbon residue, R<SP>2</SP>is a 3-6C alkenyl group, E is an ethylene group, R<SP>3</SP>is hydrogen or a 1-10C alkyl group, m and n represent each a positive integer, the ratio of m/n=99/1-50/50, and l represents an integer of 1-100.
