<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where the resilient force of a compression coil spring being the component of a shaft coupling is made stronger without hindering the function of a deep groove ball bearing itself which supports a driving shaft for rotating a drum shaft premising that a high-quality output image is realized. <P>SOLUTION: A metallic annular plate 15 is disposed between the deep groove ball bearing 2 and the compression coil spring 9 being the component element of the shaft coupling for connecting the driving shaft 7 and the drum shaft 10. The annular plate 15 is made to abut on the end face only of the inner ring 4 of the deep groove ball bearing 2 while directly receiving the resilient force of the compression coil spring 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
