摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammoxidation catalyst which maintains a wear-resistant strength for manufacturing acrylonitrile or methacrylonitrile with high yield by ammoxidation of propylene, propane, isobutene, isobutane or tirtiary butanol and has a small amount of production of acrolein or methacrolein which causes the clogging of refining system. <P>SOLUTION: Granular porous ammoxidation catalyst comprises metal oxide and silica carrier for carrying the metal oxide, wherein the amount of the silica carrier is 20 to 80 wt.% based on the total weight of the metal oxide and the silica carrier, the metal oxide contains at least two kinds of elements selected from a group consisting of molybdenum, bismuth, iron, vanadium, tellurium and niobium, at least one kind of silica raw material having the average size of silica primary particles of 5 to 55 nm, preferably 5 to 50 nm is used in the production of silica carriers for the catalyst, and the standard deviation of the silica primary particles is 30% or more based on average diameter in the particle size distribution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
