PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new photocatalyst pigment and a photocatalyst paint for producing a coating film developing the objective color and exhibiting photocatalyst action. SOLUTION: The photocatalyst pigment is produced by attaching the surface of an inorganic pigment particle with photocatalytst tungsten oxide fine particles having specific gravity higher than that of the inorganic pigment, and the photocatalytst paint is produced by combining the photocatalyst pigment with at least one kind of inorganic binder selected from the group consisting of acryl-modified silicones, silicones, silicon oxide, zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide.
