PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement prevention device for a pallet so as to prevent any trouble when the pallet mounting the load is carried into the shelf. SOLUTION: In the movement prevention device for the pallet, one end of an operating body 5' is located at the position facing inward of a T shelf, and is a portion on which the pallet 2 mounting the load abuts. In a state where the pallet 2 mounting the load does not abut on the one end of the operating body 5', the tip end part of a stopper part 63 is set to the position not exceeding the upper end surface of a horizontal member H. When the pallet 2 mounting the load abuts on the one end of the operating body 5', the one end of the operating body 5' moves, the tip end part of the stopper part 63 moves over the upper end surface of the horizontal member H, and prevents the movement of the pallet 2 mounting the load.
